Are we using network technology to analyse school data in useful and impactful ways? Why or why not?

Do teachers need to hold a degree in the subject area they are teaching in grade levels above grade three? Why or why not?

Is the Praxis or other standardized pre-professional certification assessment an accurate predictor of teacher quality? Why or why not?

Should students be promoted to the next grade level even if they have not performed well on the assessment? Why or why not?

Should parents be held accountable for their students performance on assessments? If so, how?

Should teachers be offered incentive pay (bonus) for student performance on assessments? Why or why not?

Which of the following do we need to measure as to how they impact learning in the classroom, it maybe all or none or anywhere in between?

The textbooks/instructional materials, assessments, pedagogy, whiteboard, student furniture, classroom layout, technology, teacher performance, student seat placement, supplemental resources, climate control, audio visual deployment, and lighting. As well as teachers absence rates, class size, student to teacher ratios and student transiency rates.Why or why not?

Is it fair or important to compare how United States students perform against the performance of students from other countries? Why, or why not?

Are our current once a year one dimensional assessment tests accurately and reliably measuring if a student is learning? Why or why not?
